I am Akbar, An English teacher who knows IELTS very well. I have met many Filipinos who have done IELTS (I am an examiner in both speaking and writing) and have been moved to try and offer my knowledge and professional help to anyone who is trying to get a good score in IELTS, for whatever purpose.
In 2000 my mother became terminally ill and we took her to Singapore where I met many Filipino nurses, wonderful caring people. It hurts and annoys me to see so many fully-qualified bright people not being able to work in the NHS at the right level because of the strict requirements set out by the Government and NHS for non EU workers.
